GLAMOUR: OK, exactly how much weight have you gained?
Eva Longoria Parker: [Laughs.] I’m wearing a fat suit! It’s suffocating. [She shows me the extensive padding hidden under her clothes and pulls out huge foam chicken cutlets from her bra.]
GLAMOUR: But the tabloids all said you got fat! There are “before” and “after” pictures of you looking thin and, uh, thin.
ELP: [Laughs.] I know. Unfortunately, we live our life in public, so any weight gain or pimple is a national story. I don’t get this obsession with weight. It’s not only Hollywood; it’s our society.
GLAMOUR: But you’re pregnant, right?
ELP: I’ve been pregnant since last spring with triplets. [Laughs.] No, if I were pregnant [when the tabloids said I was], I’d have had the child many times over.
GLAMOUR: So you’re not pregnant, and you’re definitely not fat—I’m glad we cleared that up. Let’s talk about your Desperate Housewives costars. You can’t have an ensemble of women who aren’t jealous of one another. Be honest: You all hate each other offscreen.
ELP: [Laughs.] No! If this were a show about four men, it wouldn’t even be an issue, but…

On being a wife: “I’m a 1950s housewife. I love baking. I love sewing. Being home with Tony. My mother was like that. Always took care of her husband. I always admired and wanted to do that
On her love for food: I’ve always been a foodie. And especially when I met Tony because he’s French, he’s a big wine guy. We’ve really gotten into wine.
On cooking for Tony: I make everything. His favorite dish is lemon pepper chicken with a lemon pasta sauce that I make. He could eat that everyday. I’m a big cook.
Eva Longoria stole the show at the latest photo shoot for the hit series, leaving the other ladies of Wisteria Lane in her shadows.
The stunning pictures, which are set to promote the up-coming show, see’s Longoria in a sexy gold sequined dress with a daring plunge neckline.
Posing in her usual demure fashion, the 33-year-old out shone her co-actresses who looked slightly dressed down in comparison.
Teri Hatcher, Nicolette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross all donned fairly plain frocks.
However the racy shoot will not be mirrored in the fifth series.
The show will be set in 2013 with Eva’s character Gabrielle having gained two children as well as a few pounds
